Great to meet you!

Trauma is a normal reaction of the brain to an abnormal event, causing stagnation that does not allow us to enjoy our present life. My clinical experience includes working with individuals, families, and couples suffering from anxiety, depression, grief, divorce/separation, trauma symptoms such as PTSD, emotional, neglect, and sexual abuse, family dynamics, racial and gender discrimination, , including LGBTQIA+, and immigration trauma.

My approach to therapy

My practice includes evidence-based models such as EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, MI, mindfulness, and holistic client-center providing a safe and collaborative environment. I am a native Spanish speaker, with a bicultural identity, LGBTQIA+ Affirming, and non-religious.

What you can expect from me

Through life experience, I learned that difficulties presented to us are an opportunity to grow. However, that journey can be lonely and exhausting. You don't have to do it by yourself. Here I am passionate and willing to walk with you through this journey.
