Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Najah, and I am a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist and Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. I hold a graduate degree in clinical and mental counseling and have worked in a variety of settings, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, addiction, and recovery.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I draw from evidence-based practices and tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.

I believe therapy should be a partnership, and I am committed to helping clients build resilience, gain insight, and develop practical tools to improve their overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented. I believe each person has unique strengths and experiences, so I tailor treatment to meet the individual needs of each client. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges, building self-awareness, and working toward meaningful change.

I utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, stress management, life transitions, substance use and recovery, self-esteem, and emotional wellness.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your personal history, current challenges, strengths, and what you hope to achieve through counseling.

My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we will identify your immediate concerns, explore your goals for treatment, and develop a plan that aligns with your needs and values.

By the end of the session, clients can expect to have a clearer understanding of the therapy process, feel heard and supported, and begin identifying practical steps toward positive change and overall well-being.
