Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned a Master of Science in

Human Services with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University

CACREP Counseling Program. Also, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor

in Interdisciplinary Families Studies from Arkansas State University (ASU). I am a

National Certified Counselor with a specialty as a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Additionally, I am a Registered Integrative Sand Tray Therapist, Tele-mental Health

Therapist, Certified Aut-play Therapist, Certified Infant Mental Health Therapist, Certified

Wellness Coach Level 1, and a Independent Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant.

Some of my trainings have included Trauma Focus Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) from the

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), Postpartum Support

International in Perinatal Mood Anxiety Disorders, Parent Child Interaction

Therapy (PCIT) from UAMS. In addition, I am trained as a Level -1 Thera Play

therapist from the Thera Play Institute. I have

received training in EMDR and EMDRIA from “EMDR Consulting.” And I hold a membership with the Arkansas Play Therapy Association.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is eclectic. I predominantly use person centered and cognitive behavior therapy. Due to my trainings, I will use modalities that are centered around approaches that I have been trained such as EMDR, Trauma focus- CBT, Play therapy and Sand tray.

What you can expect from me

During the initial session we will focus on establishing rapport, creating a safe and supportive environment, and explaining confidentiality and expectations for treatment. Additionally, we will gather information about the presenting concerns, symptoms, strengths, support system, coping skills, and immediate safety needs. Also, we will work collaboratively to identify initial treatment goals and develop a plan for future sessions.
