Great to meet you!

I believe all people are worthy of healing, lifes journey is a process that looks different for everyone.

My approach to therapy

My name is Nancy, I am a Chicana/Mexica therapist who is bilingual in English and Spanish. My approach to wellness is rooted in ancestral knowledge, Mi Dualidad, LLC honors the spiritual and emotional aspects of mental health. All parts of self are sacred, we all hold duality within, an understanding of how this exists is key to balance. Individuals have an innate ability to heal and possess the skills needed to support themselves along this process throughout their lives. Working together we can add more tools to your toolbox while maximizing on your strengths.

By implementing integrative, humanistic, strength centered approaches, we work on management of anxiety, depression, and complex trauma. I have a passion for working with people with histories of abuse, marginalization, and generational trauma. I am trained in Narrative Therapy, NET, IFS, MI, and apply somatic interventions as well as CBT.

Your healing journey begins where you are. Life is a story that ebbs and flows, there is hope, pain, sadness, anger, rage, joy, happiness and love. Every emotion within us has a right to exist and express. Let your emotions tell your story, let them be seen and honored. I hope you give yourself opportunity to nourish, shift and become the story you choose.
