Great to meet you!

Hello there. I’m Nancy—a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience spanning law enforcement, mental health, and social work. I bring a trauma-informed, culturally inclusive lens to therapy, drawing from my background in crisis intervention, intergenerational trauma and systems advocacy. I'm also pursuing a PhD in Neuropsychology to help me further support individuals and families navigating complex trauma, neurodivergence, and systemic stressors. My practice integrates clinical insight with real-world experience to foster healing, resilience, and empowerment.

My approach to therapy

I support clients through a grounded, compassionate lens, recognizing that life is messy, unpredictable, and often unfair. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, blending clinical insight with practical realism. I specialize in walking alongside those impacted by trauma validating their experiences and fostering pathways toward healing and self-determination. Together, we focus less on perfection and more on building resilience, insight, and meaningful responses that move you toward healing and empowerment.

What you can expect from me

In my practice, I create a space that is emotionally safe, culturally responsive, and grounded in mutual respect. My goal is to help clients build insight, strengthen regulation, and reconnect with their restored power—especially when navigating trauma, identity, or systemic adversity. I prioritize clarity, compassion, and practical strategies that honor each person’s lived experience. Whether we're unpacking patterns or building new skills, the environment is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and rooted in the belief that growth happens through honest reflection and adaptive response.
