Great to meet you!

Finding the right therapist is so important! Clients need to feel comfortable in order to talk about difficult things. I understand that getting started in counseling is not easy and I have so much respect for those willing to take that step! I want to help and I will walk alongside you without judgment. My style is relaxed and supportive. Clients describe me as down to earth, easy to to talk to and authentic. My specialty is working with people through life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a client-centered, strength-based approach. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques are used to help clients identify negative thought patterns and form new ways of thinking. I have over 25 years experience counseling. Work environments include: private practice, psychiatric hospital, residential children's home, state mental health and education.

What you can expect from me

All counseling sessions will offer a safe, open, and non-judgmental atmosphere where you can feel at ease. I believe that building trust and having mutual respect is key. I am here to help with acceptance and warmth. Now is the time to get started.
