Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker working with emerging adults and adults. I have a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and my clinical background is in Multisystemic Therapy for Emerging Adults, where I worked closely with clients navigating complex life situations across home, work, and legal systems.

My approach is grounded in Motivational Interviewing and trauma-informed care. In practice, that means I’m not pushing you to change before you’re ready, and I’m paying attention to pace, safety, and what actually works for you in your real life.

I tend to work with people dealing with anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and feeling stuck or unsure of what direction to take next.

My style is active and collaborative. I’ll ask questions, slow things down, and help you make sense of what’s going on, but we’ll also focus on what you want to do with that understanding so it actually translates into change.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I tend to focus on how your experiences, relationships, and life up to this point have shaped how you operate. Sometimes we’ll talk about the past. Sometimes we’ll deal with what’s coming up that week. What matters is how your past is showing up now—whether it’s helping you move forward or keeping you stuck.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly information gathering and getting to know each other. We’ll build an overall understanding of how you got here, what led to your decision to start therapy, and how I came to meet you in this chapter of your life.

At the same time, we’ll begin connecting what’s happening now with what led up to it. It’s a bit of a dual task. We’re not doing your whole life story, but we’re also not treating this like it came out of nowhere.

We’re also getting a feel for how we work together and whether this feels like a space where you can be honest.

By the end, we should have a clearer picture of what’s going on, where to start, and whether we actually vibe.
