Great to meet you!

Hi there! I’m so proud of you for taking this step. Reaching out for support takes courage, and I want you to know you’re not doing this alone.

I’m a Maryland‐licensed therapist with a Master’s in Counseling from Hood College, and I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults. My background includes school‐based counseling, inpatient treatment, and outpatient therapy, which helps me understand the challenges people face across different environments and stages of life.

I’m certified in Trauma‐Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF‐CBT) and hold CPT Provider status for Cognitive Processing Therapy.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel understood, supported, and empowered. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and build tools that help you move forward with confidence.

I’m down‐to‐earth, I appreciate humor, and I’m here to help you make sense of your experiences — whether it’s trauma or everyday life stress.

I look forward to working with you!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in helping you understand yourself more deeply. Whether you’re working through trauma or navigating everyday life stress, I focus on creating a safe space where you can explore your experiences without judgment. I use evidence‐based, trauma‐informed treatments—including TF‐CBT and CPT—to help you make sense of your thoughts, emotions, and patterns, and to build practical tools that support healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where we get to know each other and talk about what brought you in. I’ll ask about your goals, your history, and what you’re hoping to understand or change, and I’ll also ask what you’re looking for in a therapist so we can make sure the fit feels right for you. There’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready — we’ll move at your pace. My focus is on helping you feel comfortable, supported, and heard as we begin this work together. I’m glad you’re here and ready to take this step.
