Natalia Tuipulotu

Aloha, my name is Natalia Tuipulotu, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, and Certified in Perinatal Mental Health. I have been working in the field since 2010. As a social worker, I see things from a systemic viewpoint and notice the ways in which many factors interrelate. I believe in the good inside of people and dedicate myself to creating a space to support others in uplifting their overall wellness. I have experience in working with our most marginalized and vulnerable communities, and those struggling with depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, psychosis, and trauma. I work in this field because I believe change is possible. I also speak fluent Spanish and can provide psychotherapy in Spanish.

I approach clients in a non-judgmental way and attempt to gain a better understanding of my clients' experience at a pace that feels comfortable to them. I have specialized training working with people who are struggling to manage their alcohol and/or drug use, the LGBTQ+ community, pregnant and post-partum parents, grief, and harm reduction. Many of my clients are gaining a strong sense of self-confidence.

The clients I work with find safety and a sense of relief in our sessions. We work together to develop a plan to restore hope for the future through gaining insight, coping skills, and confidence.
