Great to meet you!

I am curious about how people become who they are. I enjoy exploring the influence of childhood experiences, relationships, culture, and life circumstances. I tend to ask a lot of questions and think about problems from multiple angles. I am an active therapist and often share observations, ideas, and practical suggestions as part of the process.

My approach to therapy

My approach is active and collaborative. I draw from psychodynamic therapy and pay attention to how past experiences, including trauma, continue to influence the present. I also incorporate DBT skills when they may be helpful.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation. I will ask questions to better understand your concerns, your history, and what you hope to gain from therapy. It is also a chance for us to determine whether we are a good fit for working together.
