Great to meet you!

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with graduate degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and Family Studies and Human Development, with specialized study in neuroscience and the developmental impact of early trauma. My clinical work focuses on trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, attachment, identity, and relationship concerns. As a systems therapist, I seek to understand the whole person within the context of their experiences, relationships, and development. I believe you are more than what has happened to you and more than the ways you learned to adapt in order to cope.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in an understanding of how the nervous system, body, emotions, thoughts, identity, and relationships influence one another. I integrate nervous system regulation, somatic approaches, attachment theory, developmental psychology, family systems, and emotional processing based on each client’s needs. Together, we look beneath symptoms and recurring patterns with curiosity rather than judgment, seeking to understand what they may have developed to protect. My goal is to help you develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself and greater freedom to choose how you want to respond to your life and relationships.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for me to understand what brings you to therapy, what feels difficult or stuck, and what you hope will be different. You can expect a warm, collaborative environment where you do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. We will explore current concerns as well as the experiences and patterns that may be contributing to them. Together, we will begin identifying meaningful goals and a direction for therapy that feels relevant to you.
