Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Texas and Michigan with 16 years of experience supporting children, teens, young adults, and families. In addition to my private practice, I also work full-time in a hospital setting, where I support patients and families facing complex medical and emotional challenges. I’m a mom, wife, sister, and daughter myself, and I understand the joys and challenges that come with parenting and balancing family life. My background includes experience in hospitals, schools, and community programs, where I’ve worked with individuals navigating chronic medical conditions, physical and cognitive disabilities, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and learning challenges. I also have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals and am committed to providing an affirming, inclusive, and safe space for all identities. I hold a Master’s in Social Work and post-MSW certification in School Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Michigan State University. I’m passionate about helping children, adults, and families build confidence, communication, and resilience through life’s transitions and challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate and integrative—I meet you where you are and help you uncover your strengths, find balance, and move toward growth and healing. Together, we’ll build realistic strategies that feel natural and sustainable in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, safe, and supported as we begin this process together. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’d like to focus on, and what feels most important for me to understand about your experiences. If you’re a parent bringing your child or teen, we’ll spend time hearing from both of you to get a clear picture of your child’s needs, strengths, and goals. For young adults and adults, we’ll explore what’s been most challenging and what you hope might change or feel different moving forward.

I'll ask some background questions about school, work, relationships, health, or family life to better understand your story. By the end of the session, we’ll begin developing a plan that feels supportive and realistic for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, hopeful, and encouraged that you’ve taken an important step toward healing and growth.
