Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health therapist with 20 years of experience helping adults (16-80) navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I am also a mother, daughter, sister, and friend often wearing many hats so I too know how life can get hectic. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in practical methods, while always honoring each client’s unique story. I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, respectful, and tailored to your goals. Whether you’re seeking support during a difficult season or looking for deeper personal growth, I offer a steady, nonjudgmental space to help you move forward with clarity and resilience.

My approach to therapy

Starting therapy can seem difficult. However, I will take a collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered approach to therapy. Emphasis is placed on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Therapy focuses on building insight, developing practical coping skills, and fostering long-term emotional resilience, whether clients are addressing immediate challenges or pursuing deeper personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll also ask some questions about your background and experiences to better understand you as a whole person.

You’ll have time to ask questions, share at your own pace, and get a sense of how therapy with me feels. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re ready to. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and discussing possible next steps. The first session is about creating clarity, safety, and a foundation for meaningful work ahead.
