Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Natehya.

I'm a born-and-raised North Carolina native, dog mom, sister, auntie, godmother, and friend. When I'm not in the office, you'll likely find me listening to music or a good audiobook, trying a new recipe, or spending time with my spoiled fur baby, Apollo.

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), I earned dual master's degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from North Carolina Central University. I've worked with children, adolescents, and young adults in schools, college campuses, and community mental health settings.

Life is full of transitions, and no matter your age, challenges are a natural part of the journey. My passion is helping young people and their families navigate life's challenges with confidence, resilience, and a renewed perspective.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy starts with a genuine connection. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and accepted just as you are.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and navigate life's challenges one step at a time. I tailor each session to your unique needs using evidence-based approaches that support lasting growth.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: If you can change your mind, you can change your life. Sometimes, the smallest shift in perspective can create the biggest change.

What you can expect from me

We'll spend most of our first session yapping—and I mean that in the best way!

This is our time to get to know one another. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, how your world operates, and what you hope to gain from counseling. From there, we'll create a plan that fits your goals and move at a pace that feels right for you.

My hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about what's ahead.
