I am very open and non-judgmental, supportive, and experienced. I am a single mom of two kids ages 12 and 6. I am kink, enm and ploy informed and affirming. I have been trained in relationship therapy, as well as blended family support. I love working with people on relationship issues and increasing their emotional intelligence.
I have a collaborative, exploratory, eclectic approach to therapy. I have a holistic approach, so I like to learn about all areas of a client's life when addressing mental health challenges. I also believe in the psychodynamic theory that most of our struggle's stem from our childhood and what we learned from our primary caregivers. I like to see progress, and work with folks who are invested in their growth and healing.
In the first session I like to do an evaluation, hear as much as I can about a client, their current life situation, their history, what they are struggling with, and what they'd like to get out of therapy.
