Great to meet you!

When I completed my Fulbright Scholarship in Japanese philosophy, I decided to become a psychotherapist so I could put compassion into practice. Bryn Mawr's Graduate Program in Social Work and Social Research launched me into a 21 year career in private practice. I also started a medication management company. In my work I have served clients from children to elders. I have been honored to help clients improve their lives and for some, to draw closer to the Creator, by understanding how the losses, disappointments, and shocks in life can teach us who we really are - creative, kind and wise beings capable of transcending our limits.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is to guide you to attach to yourself in a holistic way that includes healing from loss and trauma as well as developing insight that teaches you to grow. My clients tell me that my combination of a "warm heart" and logic shows them they are valued as people. I also teach people how to access their own truth, and to act on it. This form of empowerment changes lives.

What you can expect from me

Self- awareness, forgiveness for self and others, confidence in their intuition. New skills, facility with mindfulness and a better understanding of how to interact with others. A heart that has healed.
