Great to meet you!

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to explore therapy—whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating change, or simply curious about how therapy might help, reaching out is a brave first step.

I'm Natika Smith, a licensed therapist who enjoys working with adults navigating through life.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process. Rather than offering quick fixes, I work with you to explore the deeper patterns, emotions, and stories that shape your experience. Together, we create space for greater clarity, healing, and change—at a pace that feels safe and respectful to you.

My approach to therapy

I use a cognitive-behavioral approach, which focuses on how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. In therapy, we’ll work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical tools you can use in your daily life.

My approach is also grounded in ACT, Solution-Focused, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed, Christian Counseling upon request and above all, centered on building a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly seen and heard.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really a conversation to help us get to know each other. You’re welcome to share what’s bringing you in, and I may ask a few questions to understand your background and current needs. You don’t have to have all the answers or tell your whole story right away—we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. I’ll also explain how therapy works, answer any questions you have, and together we can decide if we’re a good fit moving forward.
