Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 22 years of experience providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapy. I hold a Master of Social Work from Grand Valley State University and am trained in EMDR, TF-CBT, DBT, sex therapy, and other evidence-based approaches.

I work with adults, couples, and adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, racial trauma, depression, grief and loss, identity-related stress, and life transitions. I bring a collaborative, strengths-based approach that centers cultural humility, emotional safety, and meaningful healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and collaborative. I work to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen and supported while using evidence-based practices to help them build resilience, clarity, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive first session focused on understanding what brings them to therapy and what they hope to gain. We’ll discuss current concerns, relevant history, and begin identifying goals at a pace that feels comfortable. I’ll share how I work and collaborate with you on a treatment approach that feels aligned and empowering, and I may offer resources or tools as appropriate to support you between sessions.
