Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with over 20 years of nursing experience.

I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and stress-related concerns. I provide medication management and partner with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals.

Whether you’re new to mental health care or continuing your journey, I’m here to support you in achieving improved balance and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. I believe in partnering with clients to better understand their experiences, identify goals, and develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with their needs.

I use an evidence-based approach that may include medication management, education, and coordination with therapy or other support services when appropriate. I take time to ensure you understand your treatment options so you can make informed decisions about your care.

My focus is not only on symptom management, but also on helping you build long-term coping strategies, improve daily functioning, and enhance your overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns. This initial visit is focused on getting to know you—your history, current symptoms, goals, and any previous treatment experiences.

We will complete a comprehensive assessment to better understand your needs and begin identifying possible diagnoses and treatment options. I will also take time to answer your questions and ensure you feel informed and involved in the process.

By the end of the session, we will work together to develop an initial plan, which may include medication management, therapy recommendations, or additional support services. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clear understanding of next steps.
