Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist who helps adults—especially men—work through anxiety, shame, life transitions, and faith-related wounds by making sense of their personal stories. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology and have working as a therapist since 2016. My work focuses on understanding how past experiences continue to affect daily life and relationships, and helping clients develop more steady, grounded ways of living. I often work with men navigating identity loss, unwanted sexual behaviors, spiritual harm or deconstruction, & repeating relationship struggles.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and relationship-centered, grounded in the belief that most struggles didn’t come out of nowhere. I help clients slow down, notice what’s happening internally, and understand how earlier experiences are still influencing current reactions and choices. Our work focuses on both insight and change—not just managing symptoms, but shifting the deeper patterns that keep people stuck. My style is calm, direct, and supportive, with an emphasis on helping clients feel more present, steady, & aligned in their lives.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting oriented and seeing if we’re a good fit. I’ll review basic guidelines, answer any questions you have about me or the process, and spend most of the time listening to what’s bringing you in. Together, we’ll begin to sort through what’s happening beneath the surface and identify what you want to be different. My aim is for you to feel heard and understood, and to leave the session with greater clarity and a clear sense of what needs attention in your heart, mind, & inner life.
