Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Nick Ross, Co-Founder of Winged Roots Wellness Collective and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor. I have been providing therapy since 2014 and hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University. I work with individuals, couples, and families, with particular experience in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My approach is collaborative and holistic, helping clients better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and develop practical tools for creating meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in genuine connection. Rather than telling you what you should do, I work alongside you to better understand what you’re experiencing and identify what fits your life, values, and goals. My approach considers the connection between your thoughts, emotions, relationships, body, and environment, while creating space for both practical change and deeper healing. Together, we focus on building greater self-understanding, resilience, and the ability to move through life with more confidence and clarity.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity to slow down, get to know one another, and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, what you hope to change, and what you would like therapy to help you accomplish. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and sharing at your own pace. By the end of our first session, we’ll begin identifying meaningful goals and developing a direction for our work together.
