Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Nichole (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of NJ. I received a Bachelors in Social Work from Georgian Court University in 2020, then went on to earn my Masters in Social Work from Stockton University in 2021. Since then, I have worked in many settings with a diverse variety of clients. I worked exclusively with senior citizens for a period of time, then worked almost exclusively with youth. I currently work mainly with adults and adolescents who struggle with things such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bereavement, and various other challenging mental health issues. Additionally, as a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I have a passion for working with LGBTQ+ individuals and their loved ones on the unique issues our community faces.

My approach to therapy

I believe strongly in client-centered treatment, which means no one approach to therapy works for every client. I take my time to get to know my clients as individuals in order to provide them with the best treatment for them. Therapy does not look the same for everyone, and there is no "right" or "wrong" way to do therapy. Some modalities I might use with clients include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Strengths-Based Therapy.

What you can expect from me

Client-centered treatment means we work towards the goals that YOU set. We will work together to identify the major challenges in your life and what we can do to help you live a more peaceful and fulfilling life. These sessions are YOUR time, and I want my clients to get whatever they need from them.
