Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Nickala. I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or stretched too thin. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, past trauma, major life transitions, or the emotional challenges that can come with pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood.

If you tend to carry a lot on your shoulders, overthink things, or feel like you’re always trying to “hold it together,” you’re not alone. Therapy can be a place where you don’t have to do that anymore.

Clients often describe me as warm, calm, and easy to talk to. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, understood without judgment, and supported as you figure out your next steps.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on real life. We’ll take time to understand what’s been weighing on you while also working toward practical ways to cope, set boundaries, and move through challenges with more confidence.

I believe meaningful change happens when insight and action come together. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck and build on the strengths you already have.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to start—our work simply begins wherever you are.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what feels most important to address right now, and what you hope will feel different in your life.

You can expect a supportive, down-to-earth conversation where you feel heard and respected. Many clients leave the first session feeling relieved to have a place to process things and hopeful about having a path forward.
