Nicole Bellisario

Hi there, my name is Nicole Bellisario. I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice, and a double board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Clinical Nurse Leader.

I provide medication management for women, men, adolescents, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, healthcare workers, first responders, and trauma survivors. My current focus is clients with anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and ADHD.

I have extensive experience in psychiatric and medical nursing working with diverse patient populations in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. I have been a nurse for nine years and my absolute favorite part of my job has always been a genuine, therapeutic relationship with my clients.

For medication management, my treatment approach is holistic and integrative. Given my nursing experience in both psychiatric and medical settings, I employ a mind, body, and soul perspective focused on education and empowerment. You are the driver and I am your passenger who gives great directions. :) I may refer you to a medical provider for further evaluation of problems that may impact your mental health. When appropriate, I may also recommend complimentary and alternative medicine (CAM) alone or in conjunction with psychiatric medication.

I encourage my clients in authentic self-expression that paves the way for authentic connections and healing relationships. If you are having problems with communication, relationships, anger, low frustration tolerance, stress, grief, trauma, burnout, powerlessness, or self-esteem, I am dedicated to your deep healing in a safe, relaxed, judgment-free space.

*Please note, I am a nurse practitioner and currently offer only medication management. If you are not ready to consider medication, you should match with a therapist for therapy only.*

After our first session, you can expect to understand your working diagnosis & current symptoms as they relate to your functioning. You can also expect education about your medication(s) & any adjunct labs or diagnostics that are ordered. At every session, we will collaborate on your goals & develop realistic strategies to bring your visions into focus. Long-term, we will focus on medication efficacy and any alternatives, & goals where you envision your life in a healed state.
