Great to meet you!

First and foremost, my practice is a judgment free zone. I encourage clients to check their judgments of themselves and make way for self-compassion and resilience. I aim to provide space for safety, humor, and curiosity. With over 11 years of experience, I have also provided support to therapists, healthcare workers, and law enforcement. I am a kink aware, sex positive, and LGBTQ+ friendly provider.

My approach to therapy

My theoretical approach is eclectic. I have used Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which is complementary to trauma work and has helped me to prepare my clients to engage in more intense memory processing by utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I utilize Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques to address ambivalence, elicit change talk, and collaboratively prioritize short and long-term goals.

What you can expect from me

You are encouraged to advocate for your needs and invited to attend your session as an equal partner and will be considered an expert in your own experiences. Your perspectives and insights are both valid and encouraged in this space. Developing a comfortable, and trusting rapport is 90% of what makes a therapeutic experience successful.

If you find that we are not a good fit or that you feel something is missing, let's work together to better meet your needs and connect you with appropriate supports!
