Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Michigan with over 14 years of experience in the field. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Wayne State University, specializing in Rehabilitation Vocational Counseling.

My passion lies in supporting children, teens, families, and young adults who are navigating the effects of trauma and anxiety. With extensive training in trauma-informed care, I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where clients can process their experiences, develop resilience, and regain a sense of control in their lives.

I understand that healing is a journey, and I tailor my approach to each individual’s unique needs—whether through cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness techniques, or strength-based interventions. My goal is to empower clients to overcome emotional challenges, build confidence, and cultivate healthier relationships.

If you or a loved one are struggling, I’m here to help. Let’s take the first step together.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered. My counseling style is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I integrate trauma-informed care with evidence-based approaches, helping clients navigate emotional challenges, develop resilience, and regain a sense of balance in their lives.

I specialize in working with children, teens, families, and young adults struggling with trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. Whether it's managing overwhelming emotions, coping with past experiences, or improving relationships, I work alongside my clients to explore their strengths and develop practical strategies for growth and healing.

My approach is rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strength-based techniques, with a strong emphasis on emotional regulation, self-awareness, and empowerment. I also understand the impact of executive functioning challenges and can support individuals who may be experiencing difficulties with focus, motivation, or organization, particularly those navigating school or career stress.

Above all, I strive to foster a therapeutic relationship built on trust, understanding, and genuine care—guiding my clients toward lasting change and a greater sense of well-being.

What you can expect from our first session

I enjoy working with adolescents, teens, and young adults as they navigate recovery from distressing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors stemming from trauma exposure. My clients are motivated to understand how trauma affects both the mind and body, and I am committed to helping them develop effective strategies for emotional regulation and overall well-being.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences at their own pace. I believe in fostering a space of trust, validation, and collaboration, allowing individuals to process their emotions while building resilience and confidence.

Through a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach,By integrating evidence-based techniques, I guide individuals toward healing, self-empowerment, and lasting personal growth. My ultimate goal is to help clients regain a sense of control, hope, and balance in their lives.
