Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Nicole, But most of my partners in treatment just call me their “safe place”

Let’s be real, life can get heavy. Whether you're navigating stress, relationships, trauma, substance use, or just trying to keep it together day by day, you don’t have to do it alone. I create a space where you can show up exactly as you are: no masks, no judgment, no pressure to have it all figured out.

I’m a dually licensed clinician with over a decade of experience in mental health and substance use treatment. I’ve worked across community-based settings, higher levels of care, and with individuals facing complex life transitions. Translation? I’ve seen a lot and I’m not easily shaken.

I specialize in working with individuals who:

  • Feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted
  • Are navigating substance use or recovery
  • Struggle with boundaries, communication, or relationship stress
  • Are working toward stability, whether that’s mental, emotional, or even housing and life structure
  • Want growth, but aren’t interested in being “talked at”

I’m especially passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves, because sometimes the goal isn’t just feeling better, it’s finding yourself again.

In our work together, you can expect:

  • Honesty (the supportive kind, not the harsh kind)
  • Structure and direction when you need it
  • Space to process without feeling rushed or judged
  • Practical tools you can actually use in real life

And yes, sometimes a little humor, because healing doesn’t always have to feel so heavy.

If you're ready to do the work (at your pace), I’m here to walk alongside you, as a partner in treatment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is a blend of clinical skill and real-life understanding. I use evidence-based practices like CBT, REBT, and DBT, but I also believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. We’ll do the deep work, but we might also laugh, challenge patterns, and have those “wait...why didn’t I think of that?” moments.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about you, no pressure, no judgment, and no need to have the “right words.” We’ll talk through what’s been going on in your life and what led you to seek therapy. I may ask some questions to get a clearer picture, but it will feel more like a conversation than anything else.

We’ll also start looking at what you want to work on and what progress could look like for you. And if you’re nervous? That’s completely normal. My goal is to make sure you leave that first session feeling a little more at ease than when you came in.
