Great to meet you!

My name is Nicole M. Arcuri Sanders. I hold a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision granted from a Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) accredited program in 2015. I also hold a post-master’s endorsement for a Substance Awareness Coordinator (SAC) and a Master’s in School Counseling. I additionally have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPCS) in South Carolina, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) in North Carolina, and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey. I am a Certified School Counselor in New Jersey and Texas. In addition, I hold a National Counselor Certification (NCC), Approved Clinical Supervisor Certification (ACS), and am a Board Certified Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH), formally known as a distance credentialed counselor. I bring over 15 years of counseling experience, beginning in 2010, and have been providing clinical supervision since 2013, supporting the growth and development of fellow master and doctoral level professionals. I specialize in working with the military-connected population, and those experiencing life stressors anxiety whether related to work or with personal relationships.

My approach to therapy

I help clients build self-awareness and design a life that reflects both their present needs and future goals, while honoring their unique strengths, resources, and challenges. I provide practical tools to encourage growth, resilience, and lasting empowerment.

What you can expect from me

With me, you’ll find a supportive space that recognizes life doesn’t always go as planned. Goals can shift—not as a reflection of your effort or worth, but often because of the realities life brings. Together, we’ll regularly revisit and adjust your goals to ensure they stay aligned with your needs and enhance your quality of life, even as circumstances change.

I currently serve the profession as a counselor educator and supervisor while maintaining a small private practice, Rhythms of Hope, LLC. I also serve my community as a licensed clinician, an approved and licensed clinical supervisor, a board certified telemental health provider, and a nationally credentialed counselor.

My greatest joy as a counselor is being able to support clients in becoming empowered to navigate shifting tides of their life while accounting for the reality of the unknown. I desire to not only enhance access to mental health support but also destigmatize mental health while enhancing access to wellness.
