Great to meet you!

Many of the adults I work with are struggling with anxiety, depression, or difficulty sleeping—even while continuing to manage work, responsibilities, and daily life. Over time, poor sleep, ongoing stress, and mental fatigue begin to impact mood, focus, and overall functioning.

I specialize in medication management for anxiety, depression, and sleep-related concerns. My approach is structured, practical, and focused on helping you find the right treatment plan without prolonged trial-and-error. We focus on clear diagnosis, targeted medication strategies, and consistent follow-up so you can begin to feel more stable, focused, and in control.

I work with individuals who are looking for a provider who is direct, thoughtful, and solution-oriented. Many of my clients are already engaged in therapy and are seeking additional support with medication management and symptom stabilization.

I also work with adults experiencing changes in mood, sleep, and energy related to life transitions, including hormonal shifts such as perimenopause, as well as ongoing stress and burnout. These changes can significantly impact how you feel day to day, and are often overlooked or undertreated.

As a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice and over 25 years of healthcare experience, I bring both psychiatric and medical insight into treatment planning—particularly when addressing sleep, stress, and mood-related concerns.

My goal is to provide efficient, evidence-based care that supports meaningful, sustainable improvement in how you feel day to day.

Telehealth appointments are available for adults across Virginia, with timely scheduling options for individuals ready to begin treatment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is structured, practical, and solution-focused. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management, with focused, goal-oriented support during visits.

Care is centered on understanding your symptoms clearly, identifying patterns related to mood, anxiety, and sleep, and developing a treatment plan that is both targeted and sustainable. This includes thoughtful medication management, along with brief, evidence-informed strategies to support progress between visits.

I take into account both mental and physical health factors when making treatment decisions, bringing a combined psychiatric and medical perspective to care. My goal is to provide clear guidance, reduce trial-and-error, and help you move forward with a plan that is realistic, effective, and manageable.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is a structured, comprehensive evaluation focused on understanding your current concerns, medical and psychiatric history, and treatment goals.

We will review patterns related to anxiety, mood, and sleep, along with any previous treatments or medications, to develop a clear and accurate clinical picture.

By the end of the visit, you can expect a focused treatment plan, including medication recommendations if appropriate, and clear next steps for follow-up.

My goal is to provide an efficient, thoughtful evaluation that helps you move forward with a plan that is both practical and sustainable.
