I focus on Christian Counseling that uses a holistic approach to mental health. Working with me, you will be challenged to improve all areas that impact mental health: mind, body, and soul.
Mind: Through counseling for 15 years, I have worked using therapies that support the mind such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
Body: Having a post-master's certification in Nutritional Psychology, I understand the biology behind how our bodies make neurotransmitters, how we deplete neurotransmitters, and I will teach you how to support your body in for better mental health.
Soul: Coming from a Christian perspective, I know how important it is to integrate faith in therapy, especially in dark or difficult times.
The first session is an initial intake where I will get to know you and why you are seeking therapy, and you will get to know me. We will begin to outline goals for counseling and how we want to work together.
