I am a clinical social worker and registered play therapist with over 20 years providing direct services to children and families in several different environments, including schools, youth services, counseling programs, and private practices. My areas of specialization include working with children with a history of trauma, foster care and/or adoption, and disruption within the child parent dyad.
I am a client centered therapist and embrace the opportunity to support children in healing using integrative therapies including play, expressive therapies, and cognitive therapies. Attachment therapies are utilized in healing the child parent relationship including Theraplay and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy.
