Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with nine years of experience working with a diverse range of clients in schools and private practice. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults between the ages of 5 and 75, and I especially value the opportunity to support people as they navigate life adjustments, difficult circumstances, and unexpected challenges. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can recognize your personal strengths, build confidence, and feel empowered to move forward.

I specialize in substance use and addiction counseling, marriage and family therapy, anger management, and support for children and adults experiencing life transitions or other difficulties. I believe meaningful change is possible when people have the right resources, support, and tools. Whether you are working through anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, family conflict, parenting challenges, behavioral issues, stress, self-esteem concerns, or another personal struggle, I look forward to working with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and solution focused, which means I draw from different therapeutic strategies to meet your individual needs while helping you identify practical steps toward your goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, acceptance, and a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences. Together, we will explore the fears or obstacles that may be holding you back, develop helpful coping skills, and build on the strengths you already possess. I will support you with compassion and encouragement as you work toward meaningful, lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will begin getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your current concerns, your experiences, and what you hope to accomplish through counseling. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share what helps you feel comfortable and supported. Together, we will begin identifying goals and creating a plan that fits your needs. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and encouraged about the steps ahead. I look forward to being of service and supporting you throughout the process.
