Great to meet you!

I believe that therapy should be a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the need to have everything figured out. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, heard, and genuinely supported while also being challenged to grow.

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I have experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, stress, grief, trauma, and behavioral challenges. I understand that seeking help can feel vulnerable, and I view therapy as a partnership built on trust, authenticity, and mutual respect.

I recognize that each person's story, culture, values, and experiences shape how they move through the world, and I tailor treatment to meet your unique needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I believe that you are the expert on your life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop practical tools to create meaningful change.

I integrate evidence-based approaches based on each client's needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, strengths-based interventions, mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed practices. For couples and families, I focus on improving communication, strengthening connection, increasing understanding, and helping individuals navigate conflict in healthier ways.

I value balancing support with accountability. Therapy is not about "fixing" you—it's about helping you build insight, increase resilience, and move toward the life and relationships you want to create.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation for our work together. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, your personal history, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process.

You can expect a conversational and supportive environment where you can share at your own pace. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, relationships, and goals, while also making space for any questions you may have about therapy.

By the end of the first session, we'll begin identifying priorities for treatment and discuss next steps so that you leave with a clearer understanding of how we can work together to support your growth and well-being.

I also think it's important for clients to know this: you don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy.

Many people seek therapy because they want to strengthen relationships, improve coping skills, process life transitions, deepen self-understanding, or become the healthiest version of themselves. Therapy can be both a place for healing and a place for growth.
