Great to meet you!

Counseling is a field I enjoy and love! My hope is for clients to show up as their authentic self. It's important to create a safe space for clients to reveal their hurt, barriers, and challenges of life. I've worked with a wide range of adults dealing with everyday life circumstances to those dealing with a major mental health diagnosis. The therapeutic approach is always based on the client's needs.

My approach to therapy

I believe clients receive the best therapy when they are comfortable being themselves. Therefore, creating an alliance and building a rapport with clients is important to assist them in moving forward. My job is to listen, be empathetic, non-judgmental, and provide clients with the best care possible. We collaborate to determine what works and what doesn't.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect me to be professional, caring, warm, affirming, and to hold them accountable when necessary. While not always successful, clients are encouraged to let their guards down, work hard, and trust the therapeutic process. I will verbalize my dedication to their wellness even if that means admitting I do not have the expertise to provide the care needed and must provide a referral to another therapist.
