Great to meet you!

Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and I believe everyone deserves a safe, supportive space where they can be heard without judgment. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from North Carolina A&T State University and my Master of Social Work from Winthrop University. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, families, and individuals navigating substance use, life transitions, and emotional or behavioral challenges. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical, with the goal of helping clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, so my goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel seen, heard, and supported. I meet clients where they are, recognizing that every person and every family has a unique story. Together, we'll identify your strengths, develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges, and work toward meaningful, lasting growth at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child/family, you can expect a compassionate, collaborative approach grounded in respect, honesty, and hope.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. We'll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your personal history, your strengths, and the goals you hope to achieve. There is no pressure to share everything at once—I will meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My hope is that you'll leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and encouraged about the journey ahead.
