Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with children and families, including 12 years as a Parenting Specialist. I hold an M.Ed. in Secondary Education and an MS in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Oregon. I’m fluent in Spanish and of Latin American descent, though not a native speaker. My approach is grounded in evidence-based models like CBT, ACT, DBT, Solution Focused. I’m TF-CBT trained and trauma informed, as well as a Triple P trained parenting specialist. I enjoy supporting neurodivergent clients, especially folks that are working to manage ADHD symptoms and learn more about the ways in which it may be impacting life and relationships. As an ADHDer myself, it’s a topic very near to my heart and one I feel is frequently misunderstood, especially the complexity of the disorder.

My approach to therapy

I believe everyone has the capacity to change. My style is direct, supportive, and often infused with humor.

What I Do

Family & Parenting Support I help families navigate communication breakdowns, boundary challenges, and conflict. Using a systemic lens, I work with parents, teens, and children to build connection, cooperation, and clarity.

Couples Therapy I support couples in rebuilding intimacy, improving communication, and fostering a deeper sense of teamwork and mutual respect.

Individual Therapy I work with teens and adults to manage the symptoms related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, addiction, and life transitions—using practical, actionable tools that support real change.

Teen & Adolescent Support I specialize in working with adolescents, helping them manage behavioral challenges, build self-esteem, and navigate peer and school-related stress.

What you can expect from me

I use strength-based and behavioral approaches and encourage clients to practice new skills in their everyday lives—not just in session.
