Hello, my name is Dr. Njideka Emenyi “ Dr. E”. I am a doctoral prepared dual board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. I offer a comprehensive range of evidence-based treatments for a wide array of mental health disorders including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD/ADD), substance use disorder.

My approach to therapy

I am passionate about fighting the stigma of mental health and assisting others as they access their potential for growth and change. At the heart of my practice is the patient. I strive to cultivate a compassionate, therapeutic, and safe environment for my clients which allows them to feel empowered, identify personal goals, and make informed decisions related to their specific needs.I offer flexible appointment scheduling to accommodate diverse lifestyles and commitments.

My goal at every patient encounter is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and therapeutic environment that supports open dialogue and active participation. After the first encounter with a patient, I expect the patient to gain a proper and clear understanding of his or her mental health concerns, the treatment options available and the available resources. I deliver individualized, holistic care, combining evidence-based therapeutic interventions, medication management, and psychotherapy.
