Great to meet you!

We have the ability to reinvent ourselves at any given moment. In psychotherapy, that possibility is truly there, yet is something that takes work, and a well-nurtured belief in yourself. I’ve dedicated myself to understanding what it is to be human and to effectively treat emotional distress. And, I’ve seen a range of the difficulties people deal with in my work, but it seems that most folks are simply seeking authentic meaning and connection in some way, shape or form. It is an honor and privilege to do that work, building a vision of what true connection and meaning looks like for you, and how to bring that about, together.

My approach to therapy

Symptoms of anxiety, depression, and the like, can be understood as a set of reasonable reactions to circumstance. In our work together, acknowledging the legitimacy of your past experiences will be crucial, and we will utilize cognitive behavioral approaches to get more directly at the type of change that can be felt in your life.

What you can expect from me

Since there is truly no one-size-fits-all approach we will learn to work in the unique way you need, together. I’ve been described as “analytical yet approachable,” and I find working with motivated individuals and couples who are seeking change in their life to be a pleasure.
