Great to meet you!

I attended the University of Michigan School of Social Work where I focused on Interpersonal Practice. I have worked in various mental health settings and have been in private practice for the last 5 years. I am licensed to provide therapy to patients located in Washington, DC, Virginia, and Michigan. I enjoy working with women, college students and young adults. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, body image/self-esteem issues, relationship/attachment issues, managing life stressors and transitions

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is eclectic, compassionate, and collaborative. I have experience with evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I enjoy practicing from a Person-Centered and Strengths-Based approach with better self understanding and empowerment being the goal.

What you can expect from me

Using a non-judgmental, empathic, and warm approach, I like to meet each client where they are at and utilize the modalities that best suit their needs. I believe that by creating a safe space to feel heard and understood, the therapeutic relationship can foster increased self-awareness, acceptance, and personal growth in many ways.
