Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over six years of experience providing psychiatric care, including two years as a prescribing clinician working with adults ages 18–65. I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered in your care.

My approach to therapy

My treatment philosophy is holistic and patient‐centered, recognizing that mental health is influenced by biological, psychological, and social factors. I believe in collaborative care and shared decision‐making, and I tailor treatment plans to your unique needs, which may include medication management, supportive therapy, and practical lifestyle strategies or a combination of these plans. I approach care through a trauma‐informed and culturally responsive lens, with the goal of supporting healing, resilience, and long‐term wellness.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where we focus on getting to know you and what brings you to care. We will review your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, medications, and any relevant life stressors. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, but at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and you’re always in control of what you choose to share.

We’ll also discuss your goals for treatment and what you hope to gain from our work together. If appropriate, we may talk about initial treatment options, including medication, therapy supports, and lifestyle strategies. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, informed, and supported, with a clear understanding of next steps and a collaborative plan moving forward.
