Great to meet you!

I’m Odelle Kamani, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience caring for patients across the lifespan. I’ve worked in a wide range of settings—including inpatient psychiatry, behavioral health programs, primary care, and hospital medicine—which allows me to support both mental and physical health needs in a comprehensive, coordinated way.

My background includes working with individuals managing complex mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and medical comorbidities. I’m known for being thorough, dependable, and patient-centered, and I take time to explain conditions and treatment options clearly so you can feel informed and confident in your care. I also speak French and German, which helps me connect with a broader range of patients.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, respectful, and solutions-focused. I believe effective care starts with listening—understanding your concerns, your goals, and how your mental and physical health intersect. I work closely with patients to create individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based, realistic, and aligned with your daily life.

I have strong experience in behavioral health, medication management, and integrated care, and I prioritize safety, education, and continuity. Whether we’re addressing mood concerns, anxiety, substance use, or co-occurring medical conditions, my goal is to help you feel supported while moving toward stability, relief, and improved functioning.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. We’ll review your medical and mental health history, discuss what brought you in, and talk through your current symptoms and concerns. I’ll take the time to answer your questions, explain recommendations clearly, and outline next steps together.

By the end of the visit, you’ll have a better understanding of your treatment options and a clear plan moving forward. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and reassured that you have a partner in your care.
