Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and I have practiced as a psychiatric lead nurse in an acute inpatient psychiatric facility for the past seven years. I began my career in other areas of nursing before I found my passion in a psychiatric setting. Over these seven years as a psychiatric nurse, I have come to recognize how important it is to continuously enhance my knowledge of the breadth and complexity of psychiatric illnesses.

My approach to therapy

Pursuing my certification as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner has given me the avenue and the tools to excel in this field and provide even more excellent care for my patients. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, and because of my passion for mental health, I now teach psychiatry at George Washington University.

What you can expect from me

Throughout my time as a psychiatric nurse and PMHNP, I have learned the importance of treating all patients holistically. I want to be in a position where I can not only evaluate and assess mental health issues but also treat and alleviate psychiatric illness. My goal is to integrate mental health into primary care.
