Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Olga—a psychiatric nurse practitioner who truly believes that mental health care should feel human, not clinical.

I bring over 10 years of clinical experience, including a strong foundation in critical care (ICU) before transitioning fully into psychiatry. That background shaped how I practice today—it taught me how to think quickly, read between the lines, and approach each patient with both precision and calm. It also means I’m very comfortable interpreting labs, understanding the medical side of mental health, and managing medications with a high level of confidence and attention to detail.

In psychiatry, I’ve worked across inpatient and outpatient settings, treating a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and more complex cases. My training has given me the science—but my patients have taught me the art of truly listening and connecting.

What makes my approach different is that I don’t just focus on symptoms—I focus on you. I take time to understand your story, your patterns, your stressors, your relationships, and what’s really going on beneath the surface. No rushed visits, no one-size-fits-all plans—just thoughtful, personalized care.

Patients often tell me they feel at ease opening up with me, and that’s something I value deeply. I bring a calm, compassionate, and at times even lighthearted presence into sessions, because healing doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and comfortable being yourself.

I’m also bilingual in English and Russian, and I value being able to connect with patients from different cultural backgrounds in a way that feels natural and respectful.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not like yourself lately, we’ll work through it together—at your pace, with a plan that truly fits your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is very personal, thoughtful, and collaborative. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model—each person I work with has a unique story, and I take the time to really understand that before jumping into treatment.

From the very first visit, I focus on creating a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely heard. Many of my patients tell me they’re able to open up more easily because I bring a calm, approachable, and down-to-earth presence into sessions. I value that connection, because meaningful progress often starts with trust.

Clinically, I combine a strong medical foundation with a very human approach. With over 10 years of experience—including time in the ICU—I’m very comfortable looking at the full picture: symptoms, medical factors, labs, and how medications truly affect the body. I’m thoughtful and precise with medication management, and I make sure you understand the “why” behind every decision so you feel confident and involved in your care.

At the same time, I go beyond symptoms. I pay close attention to patterns in your life—stress, relationships, past experiences, and daily functioning—so that treatment actually fits your reality. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, depression, ADHD, or more complex conditions, my goal is not just short-term relief, but long-term stability and improvement.

I also tailor my approach depending on what you need—some people want a more structured, solution-focused plan, while others need space to process and be heard. I meet you where you are and adjust along the way.

Overall, my goal is to provide care that feels both clinically strong and genuinely human—where you feel supported, understood, and confident moving forward.

What you can expect from me

From the very first session, you can expect a sense of warmth, understanding, and quiet relief—a feeling that you are finally in a space where you can exhale and be fully heard.

I approach the initial visit with intention and care. We take the time to thoughtfully explore what’s been weighing on you, along with the broader context of your life—your patterns, stressors, and what truly matters to you. There’s no rush and no pressure—just a focused, supportive conversation designed to understand you on a deeper level.

My presence is calm, attentive, and nonjudgmental, which often allows clients to open up more naturally than they expect. Many leave the first session feeling lighter—not because everything is solved immediately, but because things begin to make sense.

As we talk, I’ll gently offer clinical insight and begin outlining a personalized path forward. Whether that includes medication, therapeutic strategies, or both, every recommendation is made with precision and explained clearly, so you feel confident and informed.

By the end of the session, you can expect clarity, direction, and a genuine sense of being understood—the beginning of care that is both refined and deeply personal.
