Great to meet you!

My expertise lies in helping you to reduce your suffering and start living a fabulous life. As an ACT therapist, I have been trained to assist my clients in recognizing their values and taking steps to live in alignment with those values. I can teach you to gain better control of your life by developing a new perspective of your emotions, thoughts & sensations.

My approach to therapy

I have worked as a therapist for over 10 years in the community, at college counseling centers and with Veterans. I love doing this work and partnering with people to improve their lives. I have an interest in helping my clients resolve negative beliefs about themselves and the world. I take a collaborative approach to therapy and often hear that my clients start to feel hopeful after their first session with me. I am trained in evidence-based approaches including EMDR and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.

What you can expect from me

I will structure your sessions based on your unique situation, needs and goals. I will listen to understand your concerns, help you build internal motivation and foster a healing relationship with you. You can expect to come away from our sessions knowing more about yourself, building new skills and feeling more self-compassion.
