Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Olufunke, and I bring 25 years of experience in various mental health settings. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of being the go-to person for friends and family when they need advice or encouragement, and I carry that compassionate, supportive approach into my work with patients. Many clients share that they feel like we are true partners in their care, not just another provider-patient relationship.

In addition, I pride myself on being detail-oriented and a great listener, ensuring that each person’s unique needs and concerns are heard and addressed with the utmost care and attention. My goal is to foster an environment where my patients feel valued, heard, and empowered in their journey toward mental wellness.

My approach to therapy

I will work with you to create a treatment plan that feels right for you, and together, we'll make adjustments as needed throughout our journey. During our first appointment, we'll take time for a thorough history and physical examination. This will help me understand what you're going through and allow me to diagnose any underlying issues so we can manage your medication effectively. We'll also discuss other factors, like your sleep, eating habits, and weight, and how they might be affecting your mental health. My goal is to ensure a holistic approach to your care, focusing on the full picture of your well-being.

What you can expect from me

I want you to come away from sessions with me feeling heard and respected, as an active partner in your care journey. I've seen that people feel better when they feel life has meaning and when there are valuable goals that you can pursue, and I will help you find that meaning. Let's connect soon!
