Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I am committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and individualized care in a safe, nonjudgmental space. I understand that seeking mental health support can feel vulnerable, and I value building strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, honesty, and collaboration. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I take a holistic and evidence-based approach to treatment, recognizing that mental health is connected to many aspects of life, including physical health, relationships, stress, and daily functioning. I believe clients are the experts on their own experiences, and I work alongside them to develop treatment plans that are realistic, supportive, and tailored to their needs and goals.

Clients can also expect open communication, active listening, and a provider who genuinely cares about their progress and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe mental health treatment works best when clients feel safe, heard, and actively involved in their care. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I take a holistic approach that considers emotional, physical, social, and lifestyle factors that may impact overall well-being. I work closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and unique experiences. This may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, coping strategies, and lifestyle recommendations when appropriate.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, judgment-free environment where they feel heard and respected from the very first session. The initial appointment is focused on getting a full picture of the client as a person — not just their symptoms. Clients can expect a collaborative approach that prioritizes trust, education, and individualized care, with the goal of helping them feel understood and supported while building a path toward improved mental wellness.
