Great to meet you!

I am a Doctorally prepared Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience providing psychiatric care to children (ages 5+), adolescents, and adults across the lifespan. I have worked in both outpatient and integrated care settings, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions.

I am also a U.S. Army Veteran, which has shaped my appreciation for resilience, structure, and compassionate care. I value taking the time to understand each person’s story, background, and goals rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. My work is grounded in evidence-based practice, but always delivered with empathy, cultural awareness, and respect.

My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, involved in their care, and empowered to make meaningful progress toward improved mental well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, patient-centered, and holistic. I believe the most effective treatment happens when we work together as a team. I take time to listen carefully, explore symptoms in context, and develop a treatment plan that aligns with each client’s values, lifestyle, and goals.

I use evidence-based psychiatric treatment, including thoughtful medication management when appropriate, while also emphasizing education, coping strategies, and lifestyle factors that impact mental health. I prioritize clarity, transparency, and shared decision-making so clients feel informed and confident in their treatment.

I aim to balance clinical expertise with compassion, ensuring care feels both structured and supportive.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a thorough and respectful evaluation in a calm, supportive environment. We will discuss current concerns, symptoms, personal history, and what prompted you to seek care. I encourage open conversation and welcome questions at any point.

Together, we will identify goals for treatment and review potential options, including whether medication may be helpful. If medication is indicated, we will discuss benefits, risks, and alternatives in a clear and collaborative way.

By the end of the session, clients typically leave with a clearer understanding of their symptoms, a preliminary treatment plan, and a sense of direction for next steps. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and confident moving forward.
