Great to meet you!

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and psychotherapist, I am passionate about supporting individuals in achieving emotional balance and mental wellness. I have been practicing nursing for over 18 years, providing care to adolescents and adults. I earned my PMHNP from Purdue University and my DNP from the University of Maryland. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, and life transitions. My approach blends supportive therapy, evidence-based interventions, and medication management to help clients develop coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and maintain long-term well-being.

My approach to therapy

I provide individualized, evidence-based psychiatric care, recognizing that each client’s experiences and needs are unique. In our work together, I collaborate closely with you to assess challenges, establish treatment goals, and implement a tailored plan. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and supportive therapy, integrated with medication management when indicated. My approach emphasizes skill-building, emotional regulation, and practical strategies to promote sustained mental wellness in a safe, professional, and respectful environment.

What you can expect from me

During the initial session, I conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your mental health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Together, we establish a personalized plan that may include therapy, evidence-based interventions, and medication management if indicated. I strive to provide a safe, structured, and supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. Subsequent sessions focus on skill-building, emotional regulation, and practical strategies to promote sustained mental wellness and overall functioning.
