Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Tunde Adeyemi, and I am the founder of 969 Psychiatry and Wellness. I am a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner in both Family Medicine and Psychiatric-Mental Health. I have more than 18 years of experience in healthcare, beginning my career as a registered nurse in the emergency department before advancing into primary care and psychiatry.

I completed my Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Spring Arbor University, Michigan, and later earned a Master’s Degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health. This dual training allows me to care for the whole person, addressing both physical and mental health needs.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse and underserved populations in rural and low-income communities, providing compassionate medical and psychiatric care in both primary and acute care settings. My practice is rooted in holistic, patient-centered care, and I am deeply committed to partnering with clients on their journey toward wellness.

My goal is to combine evidence-based medicine with a compassionate, collaborative approach to help individuals achieve balance, healing, and long-term well-being. I am honored to share the knowledge and experience I’ve gained through both education and lifelong practice with the community I serve.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in supporting individuals living with: Anxiety and depression, Stress and trauma-related concerns, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, ADHD and attention difficulties, Chronic medical conditions that affect mental health

Whether through medication management, supportive psychotherapy, or lifestyle interventions, I work closely with clients to promote resilience, healing, and long-term wellness. My goal is not only to treat symptoms but to empower you with tools and strategies that support your overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

In sessions with me, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where their experiences are respected, and their voices are heard. My goal is to partner with you in creating a personalized care plan that addresses both immediate concerns and long-term wellness.

Clients often take away:

-Clarity and understanding of their mental health needs and treatment options.

-Practical coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety, or mood changes

-Improved confidence and resilience in handling life’s challenges

-A sense of empowerment, knowing they have an active role in their healing journey

I emphasize collaboration and education, so clients leave sessions not only with a plan but also with the knowledge and tools to move forward. Ultimately, I want every client to feel supported, capable, and hopeful as they work toward their personal goals.
