Great to meet you!

Welcome! As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have worked with adults in a multitude of settings including residential, community, outpatient, and emergency departments. I have extensive experience working with individuals experiencing challenges around anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship issues, self-esteem, and life transitions. I have special interest in women's mental health. I bring transparency, authenticity, and creative problem solving to the therapeutic relationship.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is strengths-based and compassion-focused. Operating from a feminist lens, I understand the unique influences of cultural and sociopolitical determinants of health. My work is rooted in a greater commitment to social justice and explores the coping strategies and outlets that resonate deeply with client values.

What you can expect from me

Utilizing an eclectic approach, I support individuals in developing strategies to think critically about their behavior patterns and move towards their goals. From a warm and inviting therapeutic space where individuals feel supported and empowered, I assist individuals in identifying their strengths, learning the skills necessary for symptom management, and expanding their sense of selves so that they may lead meaningful lives.
